what can a surprise do for a friend on Facebook

Kinda funny how I am doing my blog this week. I just looked at my blog requirements and just the night before, and oddly enought, I made an IMovie for my friend who wanted to get started on a movie for herself for her newphew. I told here what she need and what application and or program that she needed for her computer. I have a mac computer which is a lot better than most computers of course.

After I made my unexpected video for her, I posted it to her facebook and she was suprised and loved it. The video following is the IMovie I created for her.

I love surprising my friends with videos that they dont see coming, and of course they wonder how it gets made from a computer. I recently made a video for another friend and his family that is more than 3 hours long.

The way that technology is on a Apple computer is really good. They have wonderful programs and applications that you. I would love to teach this program to those who are interested in making movies like my 2 friends. If I could recommend any computers for anyone and why, it would be Apple. They have more of a variety of programs and software to make movies, videos, and whatever you may need for your home, work and or school alone.

When I surprised her, I think she was in tears of joy. She was yelling how the heck did you do it on your computer. LOL!!

I listen to a radio station from Maine that in some parts of Mass, you can get on your car stereo. On Positive FM, in Maine and NH its Positive 89.3 and in Northern Mass it’s Positive 99.9 FM. You can listen to it on positive.fm. Each year they do whats called “Positive Acts of Kindness.” It’s always good to hear what others do. It is a Christian Radio Station and always good for the family, especially if you have children. The following link is their radio station.

Surprise someone down the street.

We see in the video of the song where it talks about being gay is synonymous with the lesser meaning of less quality or in rank. He is stating that the gays or lesbians are below those who are straight in the relationship. It needs to be stated ahead of time that no matter how you feel, we are all equal. Should that include how we are in a way of being homosexual or hetrosexual. 

In the video I feel that the women are being objectified because of the way that they are dressed. Its provocative to see it in my views on a youtube video where their could be young kids looking at this stuff. In both of the videos, we do see that either genders are either opposite color.

In watching the video, I just feel that the purpose of these videos are making it seems that they all want to make it feel that this is natural in today’s society to show images of people dress with provocative clothes. . We can’t change how people make their videos and exploit they way that they do their videos. 

As someone like myself who is a Christian, I wasn’t brought up to judge in any type of way of how people choose their sexuality or the equality of their lives. Yes we should all be equal with everyone around us. I was allways told that we are equal no mater what. As we see in the following paragraph, 

In Macklemore song, we see the following lyrics:

When I was at church they taught me something else

If you preach hate at the service those words aren’t anointed

When everyone else is more comfortable remaining voiceless

Rather than fighting for humans that have had their rights stolen

In this paragraph, he was taught that it’s not anointed to preach hate at a church service but to put it in a song that you think that if you were gay, then hip-hop hates you. It doesn’t make any sense. If we are all equal, then you are the same as others and it is important to understand that you are equal. No matter what race, sex, gender or culture you are coming from, you are and should be treated as the same as others.

In another verse of the song, Macklemore states this:

For those that liked the same sex
Had the characteristics
The right wing conservatives think it’s a decision
And you can be cured with some treatment and religion
Man-made rewiring of a predisposition
Playing God, aw nah here we go
America the brave still fears what we don’t know
And God loves all his children, is somehow forgotten

He is making a statemebnt that it is long forgotten that God still loves his children no matter what. The book he referes to that was written thirty-five hundred years ago is the Bible. 

In the Robin Thicke song, Blurred Lines, he talks about how the girl is getting nasty and the way that she grabs him. just the way that she is dressed is images that are not being controlled. This is what I was stating before how we are having humans in the videos we need to have more control over whats being filmed. In both videos, I don’t see any sexual orientation going on due to the fact that both men and women are in the videos, but they do have both blacls and whites in it. 

Michael Sam

Michael Sam, an All-American defensive end for the University of Missouri’s football team, recently announced that he is gay—just weeks ahead of the all important NFL draft. Sam is the first open-gay football player ever for a college or University ever to come out gay that I know of. 

As we all know, athlete’s are now coming out and announcing their sexuality. There has never been a case that I can remember that is an University student announcing their sexuality. In most states today, same-sex marriage is now legal. And many more states to follow this same lead according to the New York Times. There’s a lot of things coming towards us. Sports are big around the world and many are coming out. Some athletes started coming out saying they were gay in the 1980’s. 

My question is, who’s next and what’s going to happen?

 

St. Patricks Day and being Irish

I am Irish, French, French Canidian, and American. Having so many cultures in me is hard to keep up. I don’t usually celebrate the holidays. Yes, I do make Corn Beef for St. Patrick’s Day but not every year. I will be cooking this year at a local mental health facility in Haverhill and looking forward to it.

As we all celebrate in so many different ways, we have many different traditions with our families. I’m the one who works or volunteers on pretty much all the holidays, like this one. Im just the guy that helps others instead of me.

No I don’t know the history of St. Patricks Day at all and just know that I’m Irish. I’m not big on wearing green on St. Patricks Day or any other day. I don’t even get into the Christmas spirit of wearing Christmas colors. Unless its my PJ’s lol.

The only holiday in a way i actually do love is the Fourth of July. I can celebrate that all day, everyday, well execpt for the fireworks.

The Valentines Day Blog

Valentines Day is a tough day for many people. I recently found out that several girls like me at the same time and now I am so confused. I was ok with one person liking me but now I found out that 3 other people also like me at same time. I was at a friends house with both of these girls and i was on the couch with one just leaning my head on her shoulder and relaxing, thinking about what I can write for my blog. When the other girl asked our mutual friend to step aside and told her that she also liked me at the same time that just out suddenly. This happened without warning. 

I never had a girlfriend before and never been in any time of committed relationship before. Now i got so many girls that like me, I don’t know who to pick. One of them, is willing to let me cook for her and wants to I guess be with me. I like both but like I said I wasn’t expecting her to blurt out that she likes me that way. She thinks that she has never known a guy who loves cooking for a girl and was surprised. I love cooking and I guess that girls love that about a guy. 

If you are like me, choose wisely. Set ground rules that no matter which one you choose, you still like them as your friends and still want to be friends. Make sure that they understand that it is your decision and that you didn’t want anyone’s feelings to get hurt. They all understand that, now its just a matter of picking. Why do girls make it difficult is what goes on in my mind. 

As I am writing, I am still confused about whats going in my mind. I am just psyhed that someone who I thought will never like me, actually likes me and I was thrown off gaurd about it. I’m kinda excited about it. But happy that it has happened.
